What I have done so far  Figured out what environment I will be using(Eclipse)  Set up my environment (3x)  Fixed missing SDK Manager in Eclipse  Installed JDK on 2 computers  Asked my mom to get an android development book  Set up the emulator for the android development process ___________________________________________________________________  Made mock project to work on to learn android DEV.  I have competed 64 pages in the WAD book  Watching Lynda.com watched 17 videos on starting Android and a couple refreshers of Java

Current Problems  Some times the emulator crashes  It won’t run a simple “Hello World” program  Still trying to figure out how to run things on the emulator  If I get a new android phone I will attempt to run it off my phone so it seems more realistic _________________________________________________________________________  The emulator takes 5 minute or more to load and have to re-start emulator every time I want to test new code

What I plan to do  I plan to start working through the book my mom got for me by the start of next week.  And start seriously coding not just messing around with the app also on Monday  Hope to have at least the log in screen done in 2 weeks  Then start to work on the profile page  Next The projects page ______________________________________________________________________  Finish the WAD book in the next 2 weeks  Then start coding on the actual project
