Culture Programme Basic aim:  encourage and support cultural cooperation within Europe in order to bring the European common cultural heritage to the fore.  propose funding opportunities to all cultural sections and all categories of cultural operators contributing to the development of cultural cooperation at European level, with a view to encouraging the emergence of European citizenship.

Culture Programme … supports 3 main activities:  trans-national mobility of cultural players  trans-national circulation of artistic and cultural works and products  inter-cultural dialogue and exchanges.

Culture Programme Possible applicants:  public organisations (= financed by State budget)  private organisations... whose principal activity is in the cultural sphere!... with registered seat in an eligible country (= EU Member States + HR, TR, MK, RS, ME, BiH, AL)

1.2.1 – Cooperation Projects Multi-annual Cooperation Projects Duration:max. 24 months36 – 60 months Amount of partners: at least 3 partners from 3 different eligible countries at least 6 partners from 6 different eligible countries Funding (max. 50% of project costs): – € per year – € per year Culture Programme

Funding method:  up to 50% funding of projected costs  pre-financing  interim- and final reports on expenses and content necessary for request of further financing and final payment

Culture Programme Application process:  Deadline for project submission: 3 rd October 2012  Definition of project partners:  1 Coordinator (= project leader, contact to EU)  Co-Organisers (executive project partners receiving part of the EU-funds)  Associated Partners (receiving no EU-funds, costs can be refunded by Co-Organisers)
