Training Ground? Help students and adults learn the basics of leadership Teaching Small group discussion Provide environment for personal breaking so that volunteers can be more effective in their primary ministry Yes!

Important for church growth? Jr. high, High School, College groups! Teaching and ministering now Our work has long term impact Yes!

A growth focused ministry? Qualitative? Care about learning Not just a placeholder Kids should be different place spiritually Quantitative? Kids come because their parents come Outreach good, encouraged, not focal point like subsequent ministry fields Yes! No!

KNOW that to all who believe Jesus and accept Him, He gave the right to become children of God.(John 1:12) GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18) GO into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone (Mark 16:15)

Oasis is a biblically-based childcare program developed to meet the needs of each individual CT. We provide a fun learning environment and are focused on helping students and volunteers grow in their relationship with and understanding of God. We know all classrooms are going to be different, but each will focus on meeting the needs of the kids and showing them that following God is fun, thought-provoking and fulfilling.

Is your own relationship with God VIBRANT? Do you know God loves you and cares about your life? Do you regularly get fed by God, and in turn give out that love to others? Do you have regular prayer time where you engage God about the ministry? How often do you pray for the students in your class? How often do you pray for your co-leaders in your class?

Do you have PEERS that challenge you, and that you challenge in your primary ministry? Oasis is a secondary ministry Growth in your primary ministry is key to seeing wild success in your secondary ministry You can’t give what you don’t have Do you willingly open up your life to your peers and invite feedback?

Are you willing to change your teaching STYLE to help kids connect with God? Students are always changing Are you willing to mix up your style to help them connect with God? Not change for change sake, if it’s working stick with it!

Do you accurately portray the HEART Christ has for the kids to them? Jesus interacts with kids with great tenderness Claims he is here for THEM! Kids are not a hindrance to your success Gentleness, patience, remember what it was like to be a kid Mark 10: One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. 14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.

Can you put yourself into the MIND of a kid? Can you think like a student? If you were a student, would you want to be in your class? Why? Why not? God is creative God is great God loves laughter God is fun

A lot depends on you! You know your classroom better than anyone else! You know the kids You know their learning style You know their idiosyncrasies You know what will work with them and what will bore them to sleep YOU ARE THE EXPERT OF WILD SUCCESS!!

Unlock our subject matter experts Small group discussions 2 areas of wild success In Class execution Team Preparation Imagine the best possible outcomes Consider what it takes to get there
