 E.R. was married to a 35 year old.  She then met a 20 year old.  He forced her to be a prostitute.  She soon became pregnant and 3 years later she escaped but was sold again in Albania and Tirana.  Now she is trying to get back on her feet.

 All over there are 27 million people trafficked.  People don’t even know what it is. What is Human Trafficking? Human trafficking is when people are sold and forced into prostitution, drug dealing, and slave labor, all of which are illegal.  There is lack of awareness among Health Care Professionals.

 In Texas they are enforcing laws against it.  There is only one shelter for victims.  We have to get necessary funding from the government.  Jill is from the U.S. and trafficked here.  She ran away because she was abused.

 No one treated her normally until Bruce came.  He took her to his “office” and she had to audition.  She was forced to sign a contract.  Next followed years of torture until she escaped.

 Three steps to fight against it.  Prevent, rescue and restore, bring justice.  They help one life at a time.  Ask for donations to provide healthcare, food, and shelter.  Read about their staff, stories of their victims, and ways to donate.

 Average cost of slave is $90.  Half of trafficking victims are under 18.  109% increase of human traffickers since  In 2006 for every 800 victims only one trafficker was convicted of the crime.  2/3 of children endure more abuse from their traffickers.

So… Support Shared Hope International and help them reach their goal of giving every victim what they deserve, a better life!
