FLOWER POWER

QUESTION What is the best way to keep a flower alive the longest?

HYPOTHESIS We believe the plant with the food will help keep th e flower alive the longest because it is eating and we know we also need to eat to stay alive.

PROCEDURE 1. You need three flowers. 2.Get three cups. 3.Get the same a mount of water in each cup. 4.Put nothing in one cup, aspirin,and food in one cup. 5.Let the flowers sit in the cups in the classroom. 6. Take picture every day. 7. Write notes about the flowers. 8.Check every few days and take pictures. 9.Write what stayed alive the longest. 10.Take notes on why it stayed alive the longest.

Materials 1. Three flowers. 2.Three vases 3.water 4.asprin 5.measuring cup 6.Flowers food 7.Camera 8. Computer

RESULTS After testing our results, the flower with the flower food was alive the longest. The flower with the aspirin, died sooner.

CONCLUSION After my hypothesis we were right because the flower with the flower food is not dead because it has nutrients to help keep it alive
