accept member and leader responsibilities:

:Member responsibilities - Members need to attend meetings regularly and be on time. For example: When member is absent extra time may be required by other member the leader to inform the absent member about what took place during her absence.

- Members should come to meeting prepared, members should review the agenda prior to the meeting so they are familiar with the topics. - Members need to stay involved during the course of the meeting (involvement means that members remain alert interested and eager to volunteer their ideas to the discussion). - Members need to adhere to the meeting protocol established by the team.

Leaders clarify and summarize : during the course of discussion many different idea may be voiced a skillful leader is able to paraphrase this information. Leaders facilitate problem solving : successful leaders are able to lead the team through a logical, systematic sequence of steps.

Employ a problem solving approach: - define the problem: having a clear understanding of the problem they are facing. - analyze the problem: demands that team members explore the problem in greater depth to determine it’s sop. - establish criteria for a solution: here the team needs to prepare a list of requirements that a solution must meet.

- consider possible solution: The step is where “brain storming “ takes place and team members are able to exercise their creativity the goal of brain storming is to generate as many solution as possible. - select a solution : Now the team members are ready to examine the solution in step.

- implement the solution : This step occurs only after the team has a detailed plan for putting their proposed solution into effect. - follow up the solution : This step requires either the team or management to evaluate the success of the solution after it has been implemented.

The end Any question?
