Introduction Tiger shark Have you ever Seen a tiger Shark?

EVOLUTION /HISTORY One of the largest and most notorious of sharks, the Tiger Shark is better known by reputation than it is in Real Life. This species is much feared as a man-eater and is responsible for much of sharks’ collective reputation as “swimming garbage cans”. Sharks are one of evolution's most enduring success stories although; they have few hard parts that can survive the insults of geologic time, sharks have left a long and rich fossil record. Some 2,000 to 3,000 species of fossil shark have been described. In contrast, the total cast of the dinosaur dynasty comprises only about 650 to 800 species. The ancestry of sharks dates back more than 200 million years before the earliest known dinosaur.

Information On Tiger Sharks Tiger sharks are found worldwide in temperate and tropical seas. Western Atlantic, Massachusetts to Uruguay, Gulf of Mexico, Bahamas, Tiger sharks are the second largest predatory shark other than the great white. The shark tends to stay in deep waters that line reefs but does move into channels to pursue prey in shallower waters.
