Background The rock band was formed in 2002 in Sheffield. The members of Artic Monkeys are Alex Turner,Jamie Cook, Nick O'Malley and Matt Helders. Their past member Andy Nicholson left the band in 2006 and was later replaced by Nick O’Malley They have made 6 albums which have won them 7 Brit Awards

Festivals and tours They have performed at Glastonbury in 2007 and 2013 after their most successful albums. In 2007 they held their own festival at Lancashire County Cricket Ground. Their first tour was on October 2 nd 2005 in Liverpool. Their NME tour was their going right across the UK in 8 places including their origin in Sheffield.
