Skimming and Scanning

Practice Instructions: 1) Take your source packet and scan through the packet quickly. How many articles are there? What kind of information will the articles contain? 2) Make a T Chart on your brown paper like this: positive negative 3) Now, skim the information as a group. As you skim, look for POSITIVE effects of groups and NEGATIVE effects of groups. As you find an example of either, record it on the butcher paper.
