Goober and Marcy A book about friendship By Amberly Krause

Characters  Chuck  Stephanie  Goober  Marcy

One day, Goober, the dog was out for a walk, with Chuck, his owner. On that same day, Marcy the cat, was out playing with Stephanie, her owner. Chuck and Stephanie were best friends.

 When Goober was enjoying his walk he came by Marcy’s house where she was playing in the front yard. Goober did not like Marcy so he growled at her. So when Marcy saw this, she hissed back at him.

 When Chuck and Stephanie heard this they immediately picked up their pet and then Chuck left. Marcy, thought she shouldn’t like Goober. Goober thought the same thing. Now they wouldn’t be friends ever again.

 At school, Chuck and Stephanie did not speak, before they did. They decided that they shouldn’t fight because the animals did not like each other but there was more to that…….

 Chuck and Stephanie decided to test to really see if this was a good idea. They replayed the previous situation with the animals. Goober decided that he was going to be the better dog about this and be nice to Marcy. Marcy wanted to cause trouble that day and be crabby and mean to every animal she saw that day.

 Goober was very scared and ran into the mailbox! Then Chuck was even more mad at Stephanie. Stephanie felt ashamed and embarrassed. Chuck got Goober out of the mailbox and left Stephanie’s house. Stephanie punished Marcy and then she felt ashamed of herself and sorry for Goober.

 Stephanie made Marcy apologize to Goober. Stephanie and Marcy walked to Chuck’s house. Goober was not happy to see Marcy there. Chuck was also not happy to see Stephanie. Marcy went up to Goober and sincerely apologized to him. He gratefully accepted it and they became friends again.

 Stephanie went to apologize to Chuck and he said that he was sorry too! Amazing! They became best friends again. They all promised that they would never let a silly thing break them up again.

 Later on in life Goober and Marcy still stayed friends, just as they had promised. Chuck and Stephanie also remained friends, as promised also.

 I’m sorry to say this but this is….
