Dividing of Fractions

Dividing a Fraction by a Fraction Basically, in order to divide fractions we will have to multiply. x 4 1 1 1 x ÷ = 2 4 2 1

When you divide a fraction change the division equation into a multiplication equation. . Multiply the first fraction with the reciprocal of the second fraction The reciprocal fraction is when the numerator and the denominator are swapped

Dividing Fractions 7 2 7 3 8 = ÷ x 3 8 2 Keep Change Flip/Swap

Now, Multiply and Simplify 7 8 56 x = 3 2 6
