2 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC SC2 Scope E3 Terminology Definitions and Best Practices Subcommittee 2 (SC2) is responsible for developing electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) terminology for C63 ® publications, and harmonizing the use of E3 terms with U.S. military and international standardization bodies. 9 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC C63 Newsletter – SC2 Input ANSI C “American National Standard, Dictionary of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) including Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)” published in December PINS for the revision of C63.14 was approved by the main committee and Working Group 1 to immediately start work on the next 5-year update. The recently formed Working Group 2 began work on the new ANSI C63.28 "American National Standard, Guide for Best Practices for EMC Compliance” with the initial publication schedule and guide components defined. Working Group 2 Webex scheduled for June 2015 with expected participation from DoD and C63.

10 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC Conclusions C recently published with next 5-year revision cycle to begin. Draft standard C63.28 in initial development phase with first Webex scheduled for June 2015.
