2. 2 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC Status of Standards/Projects C63.9, Immunity of Audio Office Equipment Passed reaffirmation ballot with 1 negative vote and 1 approve with comments. Ballot group to be advised that reaffirmation will proceed. Commenters will be advised to submit draft PINS if they would like to see standard subsequently revised. C63.15, Immunity Measurement of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Standard is due for 5-year review in 2015. No action required at this time.

3. 3 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC Status of Standards/Projects C63.16, ESD Test Methodologies Work progressing on revision of document that will provide unique guidance on ESD testing methodologies not found in other documents. Anticipate having draft to submit for ballot following spring 2014 meeting. C63.24, Generic In-Situ Immunity Evaluation Re-examination of initial draft has resulted in decision to do substantial revision. Anticipate that ballot version is at least a year away.

4. 4 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC Ad Hoc Group Reports Immunity Standards Applicable to Smart Grid Don Heirman has prepared a list of C63 standards for both emissions and immunity that are applicable to the Smart Grid. He will prepare a report to be sent to the SGIP EMII working group that includes the list and circulate it to SC5 for review. Issues with Immunity Testing in ANSI C12.1 The issues were summarized by a task group led by Jerry Ramie and forwarded to the C12.1 writing group and the SGIP EMII working group. The white paper was posted on the EMII web site and then removed, but has now been reposted. Jerry has prepared an article for EMC Magazine detailing the issues.

5. 5 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC Other Items SC5 Leadership There is some confusion as to when the terms of office expire for Chair Steve Whitesell and Vice-Chair Ed Hare. Elections were last held at the May 2011 meeting, suggesting they should be held again at the first 2014 meeting, but info on the C63 web site indicates the term of office expires at the end of this year. Criteria for Continuation of Subcommittee Membership SC5 has no formal criteria for continuation of membership, but note has been taken when members miss three or more consecutive meetings. Steve agreed to take on this subject and make a proposal to the Steering Committee within 60 days. SC1 does have criteria that may be used as a model for all SCs.
