Corporate Equality Efforts NE Florida LGBT Corporate Roundtable

History October 2007, JASMYN Coming Out Day Breakfast April 2008, JASMYN hosted corporate networking event Jan. 2009, a second gathering; LGBT Corporate Roundtable Feb. 2010, third corporate roundtable gathering; quarterly meetings set Volunteer Steering Committee established; vision and mission developed Late 2010, FCDC Board agreed to incorporate the NE FL LGBT Corporate Roundtable as it’s first “affinity” group linked to FCDC 2011, two committees were formed: Education and Communication

NE Florida LGBT Corporate Roundtable Vision: – is dedicated to the advancement and awareness of Florida LGBT equality in the workplace. We will create opportunities for greater visibility by connecting efforts of our corporate and member organizations with the NE FL community which will drive unity and build alliances. – We will do this by: Educating members Promoting LGBT employee resource programs; best practices Facilitate community outreach and education Support the events of the community
