Also for its very good actors that performed Romeo and Juliet, without them the movie would not have been as good as it is with them. The way Luhrmann decided to play out this movie catches the full attention of the watcher and it makes them able to relate with the movie as it is set in modern times. Adding to that the actors in this movie are very unique and they played their parts very well. In this new version we can see how the love theme is being brought out and how it relates to the every day couple. Another thing that differentiates this movie from the version done before is that it does not only focus on the themes of love and drama but it also incorporates comedy as there are some very funny scenes. Finally the movie Romeo and Juliet directed by Luhrmann is much better than other versions of Romeo and Juliet that’s why he won the award for the best Romantic movie of the year, Congratulations.

People around the world are talking about this movie because of its excellent script and actors and also because of the way the movie was filmed. This movie is a perfect version of Shakespeare’s original version; this movie brings out Shakespeare’s original ideas and makes an award winning movie. Not only does this movie have an amazing set up but also some of the best costumes ever designed; it seems that the director of the movie wanted people to be in the time the play was written. Another way this is shown is by the actor’s hair styles, this complements to the way they are dressed. The atmosphere of the movie also complements to this great movie. This movie is also great because of how the scenes look so realistic and very attractive to the public. The places were the scenes occur are very appropriate for the moments and this makes them more interesting. In conclusion Zefirelli’s version of Rome and Juliet deserves this prestigious award for its very well made setting and costumes and for its unique way of telling this beautiful story.
