Home General Information This set of videos is designed to help students use the calculator on the TAKS test. It is not intended to be a complete review of skills needed for the TAKS test. The objectives covered are the objectives from the Exit Level TAKS test. However, objectives #1-5, and 9 are the same for 9th, 10th and 11th. Since Objective 10 involves the understanding of mathematical processes and tools used in problem solving, we included this type of questioning in our sample problems. Continue

Home Instructions for the Use of These Videos Students should go through the “Introduction” video to familiarize themselves with the calculator and needed information. Print out the “Objective Notes” for each objective. Students should have these to write on as they listen to each video. The “Objective Practice” contains three problems covering skills targeted on the video. This can be given to the students after they have completed a video. Answers are provided. The “Practice Test” contains 22 problems in random objective order. Answers and a detailed key are provided. PreviousContinue
