Spiritual Eye Surgery Part 1 Luke 6:37-42

Luke 6: “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; 38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

1 Thessalonians 5: And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. 15 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

Luke 6: Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

How do you deal with the log? Repentance Confess your sin to God. 1 John 1:8-9 Confess your sin to each other. James 5:16 Repent on the basis of the kindness of God. Romans 2:4 ONLY NOW you are ready to deal with your brother’s speck.
