CTF Enhancements Main Enhancements were added in the Autumn 2012 release –Import and Export of ULN’s – Export of Phonics (Primaries only) Additional enhancements in the Spring 2013 release 4

Summer Release School Census Autumn 2013: Post 16 Learning Aims Removed from DfE Specification: Outcomes Results Added to the DfE Specification: QWS Discount Code AO Discount Code

Post 16 Learning Aims and the School Census Courses are scheduled in the Summer Term which will cover the new functionality. Summer release expected before the end of the Summer Term 9

Summer Release Items to be made available for September 2013 so they can be pickup up by School Census Autumn 2014 Already requested by DfE: School Phase of All Through - impacts throughout SIMS Core Learning Aim - added to Focus | Student | Courses Not yet requested by DfE: There are likely to be further requests related to Post 16 funding for 2014, but it is now too late for us to deal with them in the Summer Release 2013

Summer Release 2013 – Non EDI Entry for England

Non EDI Result Entry for England “Import DfE QAN Catalogue from QWS” has been renamed to “Import Qualification Data” and now includes import of a Performance Measures XML file. The Performance Measures XML file is provided from SupportNet and is derived from The Register of Regulated Qualifications (RRQ). 13

Non EDI Result Entry for England Selection of students takes place as previously, but clicking Add Result will provide an entry screen where much of the content is automatically filled from the information contained in the Performance Measures XML file. 14

Non EDI Result Entry for England In this case the Subject Code has been auto-filled, as there is only one Discount Code (Subject Code) for the QAN. Where there is more than one Discount Code for the QAN, the user will need to choose the Subject Code that applies Once the QAN and Subject Code are identified several more fields are auto-filled. Course will only be auto- filled if a course already exists with the QAN and Discount Code. 16

Non EDI Result Entry for England Once the user enters the grade the remaining information is auto-filled. Grade entry will be restricted to the grade set identified in the Performance Measures XML file. 17
