3 Curriculum Science- State Standards Driven Holt Earth Science Textbook Various Sources Next Generation Science standards have not been implemented yet. Health- State and District driven Only 6 hours required in 6 th Grade

10/21/ Grading Schedule Standard 4.0 Scale A=90 to 100, B=80 to 89, C=70 to 79, D=60 to 69, Fail is 59 and below I don’t round up and Plus and Minus grades are not used. 50% Tests (at the end of every section) 10% Homework (posted on website) 20% Class Work (Science Notebook) 20% Projects/Activities/Labs

9 Homework Homework is assigned every night! Homework comes from Directed Reading Worksheets Booklet Homework is written on the board and students write it in agenda at the beginning of class Homework is also posted on website

10/21/ Progress Reports Progress reports from school are sent home every 5 weeks. Parent Signature required Semester 1 grade is not final until December Jupiter grades will always be most updated grade.
