Georgia’s Career Pathway Is a coherent, articulated sequence of rigorous academic and career/technical courses, usually beginning in the 9 th grade and leading to a diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate degree and beyond.

House Bill 186 Activities 1.Establish college and career readiness standards in reading, writing, and mathematics that align with core curriculum and level of performance necessary to meet college readiness standards 2.Adopt and develop 16 national career clusters 3.Adopt policies to establish guidelines for awarding high school credit to student demonstration of subject area competency (instead of or in combination with classroom instruction)
