1 Quality Assurance Office Supplier Outreach & Process Control For NASA’s Space Programs (Earth Science, Space Science, and Biological and Physical Research) NASA SOPC Buck Crenshaw NASA/JPL PQA Sept. 24, 2002

3 To Understand and Protect Our Home Planet Understanding the Earth’s system and its response to natural and human-induced changes. Collaborating with others to improve the quality of life and to create a more secure world. MOTT A Small Company that Makes Filters Critical for Earth Observing Spacecraft

4 To Explore the Universe and Search for Life Exploring the Universe and the life within it…enabled by technology, first with robotic trailblazers, and eventually humans…as driven by these compelling scientific questions: –How did we get here? –Where are we going? –Are we alone? Marotta a small company that makes the valves used on Space Science Spacecraft

5 To Inspire the Next Generation of Explorers Motivating students to pursue careers in science, math, and engineering. Providing educators with unique teaching tools and compelling teaching experiences. Improving our Nation’s scientific literacy. NASA Awards more then $5 Million To Universities (outreach can help assure the success of these activities and provide tools and experience to the community)
