* Books, diaries, magazines, journals. Clunes Library, Kindergarten library, books borrowed from staff, local people, friends, family.

Finding Out Internet. Google search : check for relevance. (Try Google Scholar) Local websites, Sovereign Hill, local organisations and people, Hepburn Shire. Cut and paste the information you need and place in a folder.

Finding 0ut People. Who would know who to ask?? Ask Wesley staff, Clunes library staff, local shop keepers, community group members, locals. Before you organise to formally interview someone please do the following: *Be clear as to what you want to know. * Write some open ended questions. *Speak to your mentor about the best time for contact. *Organise meeting. *Be polite and thank them for their time. *You may want to make contact when project is finished.

Finding out Pictures and photos Use the library and internet to find pictures that can be a great source of information. Often artists were able to depict social life of the past in great detail. Pictures also make sense of unfamiliar terms.
