L1 travels through the high limiter, then through selector switch contacts 7 and 8 then 1 and 2 (cycling). Through selector contact 1 to 11 to terminal 7 on the DSI. The Broil burner lights. ADVANCE

Selector switch contacts 1 to 11 is closed and 5 to 7 is closed. Click mouse to advance

Thermostat contacts 7 and 8 (on/off) and 1 and 2 (cycling) are closed. Click mouse to advance

L1 travels through the high limiter, then through selector switch contacts 7 and 8 then 1 and 2 (cycling). Through selector contact 1 to 11 to terminal 7 on the DSI. The Broil burner lights. With contact 5 to 7 closed, the convection fan operates as well. ADVANCE

The following Selector switch contacts are closed: Click mouse to advance 2 to 10 3 to 9 4 to 8 5 to 6

Thermostat contacts 7 and 8 (on/off) and 1 and 2 (cycling) are closed. Also C and N.O are closed for the initial heating process. Click mouse to advance

L1 travels through the high limiter, then through Thermostat contacts 7 and 8 (On/Off) then 1 and 2 (cycling). Voltage then goes to the Cycle light and contact 1 and 2 on the selector. L1 also goes through contacts 5 and 6 on the selector, then to the input (SEL) on the self clean board. This activates the Self Clean. Click mouse to advance

At the same time that the power is sent to the Self Clean board, contact 5 and 6 also sends power to the Self Clean light. Click mouse to advance

With power to the Self Clean board, the first thing that must happen is the door must be locked.. Click mouse to advance The Self Clean board closes contact LS2 to M1 and also closes LS1 to L1

With LS2 and M1 and LS1 to L1 closed, voltage flows through L1 and LS1, then though the Auto Reset. From there it flows through LS2 and M1. Exiting M1 it flows to the lock motor. Click mouse to advance

In order for the Self Clean Board to know the position of the door latch, there are two sensor circuits in the Self Clean board. When the door is in the un-locked position, VC on the Self Clean board sends a voltage of between volts DC to SENSOR 4. This lets the board know the door is UNLOCKED. Click mouse to advance VDC

When the door motor is advanced, SW1 on the door latch OPENS. At the same time SW2 and SW3 CLOSE. SW2 sends the volts DC to SENSOR 3. The Door will now move to the lock position. Click mouse to advance The door motor has advanced and locked the door.

With the door now locked, SW2 sends the volts DC to SENSOR 3. When SENSOR 3 sees this voltage, it opens LS2 and M1 on the Self Clean Board. Click mouse to advance VDC

The board will now open LS2 to M1 Click mouse to advance Line voltage is removed from the door lock motor and the door remains locked.

At the same time that the Self Clean Board is activating the door lock mechanism, L1 also goes through contacts 5 and 6 on the selector to the Self Clean relay coil. The relay closes the N.O contact. Click mouse to advance The relay is now energized. When the oven reaches 600 degrees F this contact will assist in the heating process.

When the door was locked, the Self Clean board also closed the N.O. contact T3 to T4. This circuit will supply line voltage to the cooling fan throughout the Self Clean Cycle. Click mouse to advance

T1 to T2 was also closed when the door locked. This allows voltage to flow through SW3 on the Door Lock mechanism. Then it travels through the N.O. contact in the thermostat. Then through Selector switch contact 4 and 8 and finally entering the DSI module #7 terminal. Click mouse to advance

With voltage at the DSI, the module discharges a current at the Broil electrode and at the same time voltage is sent to the Broil solenoid. The gas is discharged and the Burner ignites. The Self Clean Cycle has begun. Click mouse to advance

When the outer oven cavity temp reaches 250°the Cooling fan thermostat closes and will supply direct voltage to the cooling fan. This will stay closed until the temp drops below 250° Click mouse to advance

When the oven temp is at 575°the Auto Reset will open.If the Self Clean is switched off and the Auto Reset is open, the door will not open. When the temperature drops below 575°the Auto rest will close and allow voltage to flow to LS2

Click mouse to advance When the oven temp is at 600°the oven thermostat will switch from the C and N.O contact to the C and N.C. contact. Voltage now flows through Selector contact 3 and 9. Then it travels through the N.O. (Now closed) contact in the relay. From there to the DSI module #6 for the Bake burner. The Bake burner ignites. The oven will continue to increase in temperature until it reaches 825°

When the oven reaches 825°Contact 1 and 2 in the thermostat opens. Click mouse to advance With the contact open, voltage no longer flows to the DSI module. The Bake valve opens and the unit stops heating. When the temperature drops, the contact in the thermostat will close and the DSI will re-ignite the Bake. This cycling will occur for 3 hours.

At the end of the 3 hr clean cycle, T1 to T2 and T3 to T4 open. With T1 and T2 open, voltage is no longer sent to the DSI module so the burner shuts off. The cooling motor will still operate with T3 and T4 open because of the cooling fan thermostat. The oven begins the cool down cycle. Click mouse to advance

At the same time, contact LS2 to M1 close. Because the Auto Reset is still open, the door does not unlock. The temperature has to drop below 575°for the Auto Reset to close. Click mouse to advance

When the temperature Drops below 600°the N.C. contact in the Thermostat switches to the N.O. contact. Click mouse to advance This contact will stay in this position as long as the Thermostat is in SELF CLEAN.

When the temperature Drops below 575°the Auto Reset contact will close. Click mouse to advance Voltage now flows through the Auto Reset, then through contacts LS2 and M1. We now have voltage to the lock motor.

With voltage to the Door lock Motor, the motor advancesThe Door lock advances to the open position. SW2 and SW3 OPEN while SW1 Closes Click mouse to advance

With the door now UNLOCKED, SW1 sends the volts DC to SENSOR 4. When SENSOR 4 sees this voltage, it opens LS2 and M1 on the Self Clean Board. LS2 and M1 opens. This stops the voltage flow to the Door motor. The door motor stops turning. Click mouse to advance VDC

Though the Self Clean cycle is complete, the cooling fan will continue to run until the Fan thermostat opens when the temperature drops below 250° With the thermostat opens, the cooling fan stops running. Click mouse to advance

The Self Clean Cycle is complete! PLEASE NOTE: As long as the Thermostat is in the ON position, the Cycle light will remain on. If the Selector is left in Self Clean, the Clean Light will remain on. Click mouse to advance
