Economic life in Egypt Foreign ministers held Arabs and Africans, yesterday, held a meeting in Kuwait in order to accelerate the implementation of the strategy aimed at strengthening economic cooperation, investment and trade between the two sides, before the Arab summit - Africa this week. Praised in her speech during the meeting, the contributions of the United Arab Emirates in the financing of several projects in the African continent through the provision of more initiatives that stimulate economic growth and attract investments in the context of creating a regional and global partnerships and the significant role to play in providing humanitarian assistance and relief to the African continent. And looked forward to the activation of the common will and to exert maximum efforts by Arab and African countries for the implementation of the pillars of the partnership strategy and action plan that has been agreed upon for the years The minister added that the UAE is organized by the Global Forum African businessman " Dubai COMESA - the prospects for partnership between Africa and the world," which was held in May 2013 and that in view of the positive results that emerged from this forum has the face of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,

The aim of the meeting of foreign ministers to set the agenda for the summit, which is expected to be approved by the leaders on measures aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two regions, especially between the Gulf region and Sub - Saharan Africa.

The previous Arab - African Summit in Libya has adopted a strategic partnership between the two groups for the period between 2011 and 2016, but the application has slowed so much, especially because of the protests that swept several Arab countries. The ministers also looking into an agreement for the establishment of an Arab-African financial mechanism for the

implementation of joint projects and to encourage investment. Discussions by ministers also address a number of issues, including the need to stand firm against terrorism and to achieve prosperity and well - being of people and the protection of human rights as well as non- interference in the internal affairs of States and the reform of the United Nations and the Security Council. The conferees looking proposal on the Strengthening of the Afro - Arab cooperation in the field of migration and the proposal for rationalization of mechanisms for the implementation and follow - up of Afro - Arab partnership and the report of the second meeting of the African and Arab ministers of agriculture and food security, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in October / November last year. The participants will discuss a report on the performance of the Afro-Arab Cultural Institute and the proposal for the establishment of mechanisms to finance Arab African projects and joint Afro-Arab activities.
