Revised Statement Because God has given us Christ,our Kingly Prince of Peace we have peace and with joy can look forward to eternal peace on earth when Christ returns.

You have multiplied the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, as they are glad when they divide the spoil. Isaiah 9:5-7 For every boot of the trampling warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom to establish it and uphold it with justice and righteousness from this time to forevermore.

II Cor. 5:17-19 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the message of reconciliation; that is in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
