1. Peace Among the Nations

“Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.” ~Jesus, Luke 12:34
There can be REAL peace among the nations because there can be REAL peace experienced individually.

3. “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.” Isaiah9:2

and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
 ~ Isaiah 9:6
Immanuel: God with us!
God gives us his very self.
God gives His grace! 
“Blessed are the poor in sprit - for theirs in the kingdom of heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:3

5. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ~ Isaiah 9:6 God gives his guidance. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

6. The incarnation is both prescriptive and Instructive for us in the way we should view life.  
“Kenosis” is the technical word theologians use to describe Christ emptying himself.
  “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

9. Peace Among the Nations
