IVAN CAPP Verbs A verb is a word used to express an action, a condition, or a state of being. There are 3 types of Verbs: Action Verbs Linking Verbs Helping Verbs

Linking Verbs A linking verb links its subject to a word in the predicate. FORMS OF BE: am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been, have, has, had

could, should, would, may, might, must, can, shall, will Helping Verbs A helping verb helps main verbs express action or precise shades of meaning. Examples: has, have, had could, should, would, may, might, must, can, shall, will
