Habitat The Woolly Mammoth lived in North America and Eurasia

Appearance Woolly Mammoths have brown hair, two long tusks, small eyes, big flat feet and small ears.The sive of the Woolly Mammoth was 13 feet tall

Diet The Woolly Mammoth was a herbivore.It ate grass and other plants

Motion The Woolly Mammoth walked on four legs

Adaptation Like all elephants the Woolly Mammoth has a long trunk for getting food out of the ground and the air. Woolly Mammoths had a thick layer of fur as well as a thick layer of fat to keep them warm in a cold climate. Their large size would have made them difficult to hunt even for a skiled predader.
