Designing a Website 1. Topic Hobby Band Club Sports 2. Audience Who are they? Where are they from? What will they want to see? What kinds of info will be needed? 3. Key Terms Wording (Subject Spec) Hot Words/Hyperlinks 4. Layout Pictures Frames Borders Tables Text Boxes 5. General Interface Background (image/colour) Buttons Menus 6. Logo Existing? Your Own? Watermark effect? Small in a corner? 7. Title Font Font Colour Font Size 8. Body Text Font Font Colour Font Size 9. Pictures Of what? From Where? Links? 10. 1. Topic I have chosen to create a website about photography. This is because i like it and i know some people who are amazing photographers. Ideas… Hobby Band Club Sports

Audience The type of person that would visit my site would be someone who wants a family photo or a wedding photographer etc. They will be particularly interested in seeing where to find us, how to contact us the graphics and text. Ideas… Who are they? Where are they from? What will they want to see? What kinds of information will be needed?

3. Key Words I will need to use words related to my topic these will include unique, professional, photographer/y. Ideas… Wording (Subject Specific) Hot Words/Hyperlinks

General Interface (what it looks like) In the background I will have images of scenery, weddings, family photos, it will change (sample photos) I will use buttons to show different ideas of photos including: weddings, parties, baby photos, maybe animals and landscapes. Websites like mine Picasa gave me an advantage because it gave me the idea to put sample pictures on my website to give the customers a rough example of what we do and the quality of our work. The pictures would be ones that we have taken before. National Geographic gave me the idea for the animals because they take such good and detailed photos. The other day photography gave me confidence in putting wedding photos on my website, because they have such good detail and the angles are really good.
