Put your knowledge into action The beginning steps of starting your garden are simple and can include a bit of old fashioned hard work. The following steps are meant to guide you in preparing a basic garden planting area.

tip 1. prepare a potting bench area with cover from the elements of sun and rain. 2. make tables to place seedlings on for sprouting care. 3. Organize all seedlings flat, pots and containers in an orderly manner within easy reach of the potting bench. 4. 0rganize the following tools nearby; Buckets (1-2 and 5 gallon size), plant I.D. tags, hand towel, spoons, water- proof pens. 5. Organize fertilizer and nutrients in air-tight buckets/ containers nearby potting bench. 6. Fabricate two soil/ cinder sifting trays using a half metal screen and a frame. One hand held tray at 16” by 16” square or round and about 2” deep and one wheel barrow tray at 24” by 24” square or round and about 3-1/2” deep. To prevent “burning “ or damaging young plants, be sure root ball sprouts and seedlings have been adequately hydrated ( watered) prior to treating plant with fertilizer or any additive
