It was reduced to 240 km, then 235 km, and since May 31 to 225 km. End of life is predicted in November  Mission goals have been reached and in some cases outperformed.  4 th generation gravity field model was released in March.  5 th release is expected around mid-2014 GOCE – The Gravity-field and Ocean steady-state Circulation Explorer
