Day of Cumulative Test – Multiple Choice When you get your test. Mark what form you are taking. Read directions carefully and questions carefully. You get 30 minutes maximum on the multiple choice. Use the information on the formula sheets to help you. Turn in everything in the front of the class. Get a copy of the Project description. Read this for next class. I will spend the first 20 minutes talking about the project and you will spend the remaining 50 minutes on the Free Response. I will have the entire cumulative test graded by Monday May 6 th.

Introduction due May 22nd Must be typed and submitted at the beginning of class. Work by yourself or with a partner. Introduction Details – Part 1(Due Wednesday 5/22) 1 st paragraph: Answer the question in your opinion if you think OCHSA students are in shape. OR propose your own question about OCSA students and/or teachers and what made you interested in that topic. 2 nd paragraph: Describe that we will collect data for the 2 statistics classes for the 3 events on the Presidential Physical Fitness Test, write hypotheses (null and alternate) based on fact(s) from a reputable source on how OCHSA students will do. Your hypotheses will be similar to what we did in inference. Write it out in symbols and in words. OR Do research and cite sources on how you will believe OCSA students or teacher will compare to the population. Describe your data collection write out yourhypotheses.

Description of Introduction continued… 3 rd paragraph: Describe what will occur in the rest of your paper (Explain how you will summarize data collected for the classes, what kind of inference tests you plan to do, and how you will state the conclusion based on Part 3) _______________________________________________ Between May 6 th and May 20 th in class you will use the time to work on your introductions. Do research find sources, decided what kind of inference test you will be doing etc. You may do that or study/prepare for your AP exam(s). Monday May 20 th we will meet in the IMMRC for you to use the computer to do some last minute typing. Introductions are due at the beginning of class May 22 nd.

Part 2 – Data Analysis Friday 5/24 Collect Data – Dress appropriately and bring a yoga matt or towel! Those of you researching a different question need to bring your supplies to collect data from the class. If you are collecting data from teachers you need to have your data collected by this day. I will also give clear directions on how to collect data and complete the 3 events. Everyone is completing the 3 events. We will collect the data outside after I give instructions. Once you complete all 3 events and collect the data you will turn it into me, where I will organize it in an Excel Sheet. Monday (5/27) I will return introductions with feedback. Both Monday (5/27) and Wednesday (5/29) we will work in class. Bring laptops to work on summarizing data on Excel.

Part 3(Inference) and Part 4 (Conclusion) Friday 5/31 and Tuesday 6/4 will be in the IMMRC. You should have summary statistics and 6 graphs or the correct number of graphs displaying your data in Excel. Remember, you still have to summarize your data with SOCS in words on your word file for your paper. This is part 2. For Part 3 you will do the correct inference test. You can do this on your calculator BUT you need to draw the sketch and show the shading for your work on your paper. Then write a conclusion and a reflection on what you think of your results.

A hard copy of the paper is due Thursday 6/6 even if you and your partner are absent. me your paper if you are both absent or points will be taken off for it being late. You have exactly 50 minutes. No extra time is given. When you finish your test find something to do quietly. I will not be here tomorrow because I will grade all of these by Monday. Remember to bring your laptop for research or study material to prepare for your AP exams.
