A little story…

Ideas for compliments… Personality (You are very…friendly, kind, helpful, funny, stylish…) Memories (I remember when…, I liked when…) You are good at…(sports, math, reading, story telling…) Other things…(belongings, physical characteristics, things you have in common…)

Setting Our Kabbalot A small, achievable goal that has to do with the value. Examples: – Give at least one genuine compliment per day. –Take a few minutes to brainstorm the positive things about an activity before or after you do it. –If you feel negative, do something that makes you feel better (listen to music, exercise, dance, sing, tell a joke) –Encourage someone each day. –Add two new things to your gratitude list/jar each day. –Do not gossip.

Focus Phrase Helps us remember our kabbalot. Try to reflect on your focus phrase for a minute or two each morning. –Examples: Positivity Smiling faces! Song “Happy” Glass half full! Careful speech
