Genesis 3:17-19 [17] To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,‘ "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

WHY DO WE STAY IN THE RAT RACE? Our priorities are scrambled and blurred. The pressures of financial security. Family pressures. A need for social affirmation due to low self-esteem. We are trying to live as perfectionists. Information overload.

CONSEQUENCES OF CROWDED LIVES? Lack of strong Biblical conviction and moral strength.

James 4:4 [4] You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
