Skeletal system By: Emily Vaughn, and Mary Clark

What is the skeletal system The skeletal system is the bones in your body. For example:

The Major Bones 1.Femur 2.Clavicle 3.Scapula 4.Sternum 5.Vertebral column 6.Humerus 7.Ribs 8.Pelvis 9.Gliding joint 1.Radius 2.Ulna 3.Patella 4.Tibia 5.Fibula 6.Cranium 7.Hinge 8.pivot 9.Ball and socket 10.Mandible

These are some pictures of the skeletal system

Questions What is the longest bone in the body? What is your patella? Where is your scapula? Where is your cranium at? Where is your ulna at?

Answers The femur is the longest bone. Your knee cap is your patella. The scapula is your shoulder blades. The cranium is your skull. Your ulna is your elbow.

Did you know Did you know the femur is the longest bone in the body and its marrow? Did you know that the skull sticks out in the back because it holds part of the brain? Did you know that if you didn’t have your vertebra then you would be just like a jelly fish? Did you know that your jaw bone is actually called the mandible?

Examples of how to see the skeleton and its bones Some examples to see the skeleton and its bones is to look it up on google You could also look up a song to help you remember it You could also just study like you normally would Also you could play a game were you could see who gets the most points and that person wins
