 Classroom Management includes a structured environment with schedules, routines, and consistent behavior expectations.

Routine and expectations are clearly stated and easy for students to follow.

 A variety of teaching methods are incorporated in my lessons. Lectures, group discussions, demonstrations and activities.

 This lesson integrates social studies and language arts.

 Students create and advertise a product, sell it at the school market and then reflect on the experience.

I use a variety of formative and summative assessments

 This performance assessment evaluates the students ability to solve math problems in a real world context.

 Stay connected with parents and encourage community involvement.

Community Outreach Project This project will teach students how to become involved with the community and promote a fundraising operation.

Classroom Community Encourage students to respect individuality and different points of view and to appreciate the value of each person.

Volunteer I participate in food drives and school talent shows!

Staying Connected As a member of the T.A.L.L. club, I volunteered to decorate pumpkins with kids at the local farmers market.

Some of these strategies include: Reading: How to get your child to read 20 minutes per day. Writing: How to use a daily journal for writing practice. Math: How to incorporate math problems in your daily activities.
