4. What if I speak a language other than English? Call a “homework buddy” for advice. Communicate with teacher if homework is consistently difficult to understand. Monitor daily homework assigned. Provide encouragement, support, suggestions.

5. Homework Guidelines Grades K-2: 20-30 minutes nightly Grade 3: 30-40 minutes nightly Grades 4-5: 40-60 minutes nightly All Grades: Read 20 minutes each day.
