What Walk 2012 is Funding  New CPU’s in the Library and in Rm. 208  Ready to Use!  Expansion/Improving of the school’s WIFI by expanding the bandwidth  Ready to Use!  Climbing Wall in Small Gym extensions

What Past Walks Paid For  Computer projectors in classrooms  New computer monitors in the library  New sound system in the Memorial Gymnasium  Development of the new CCHS website  Color printer in the library  Improvements to the Football practice and softball fields  New equipment in the weight room  Funding for the new Field Hockey program  New floor in the gym  1,100 new student lockers  Large musical instruments  Climbing wall in the small gym  And Many More!!!!

How to Raise Money  Very EASY and EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL WAY to collect money!  Last year the mailers brought in over $77,000 and the average amount the student received from the mailers was about $150!  Each student receives 7 mailers TODAY  Complete them TONIGHT, due in Homeroom tomorrow  Names & addresses of family/friends that live out of town or you don’t see often  Parent’s Christmas Card List  Put this in your planners and view it as (easy) homework!  We’ll discuss how to complete the mailers in a minute  Each student will also receive a Walk Envelope as done in years past  Envelope Collection Days:  Wednesday 10/31  Thursday 11/08  Wednesday 11/14

Walk Incentives  Any student who brings in $25 on or before the first collection day (Oct. 31 st ) may dress down THAT DAY ! If you bring in another $25 on or before the second collection day (Nov. 8 th ) you can dress down THAT DAY! And if you bring in $25 on or before the last collection day (Nov. 14 th ) you can dress down THAT DAY!  If the school reaches its goal of $90,000…The entire school will receive the day before Thanksgiving off!  If the school raises $100,000…The entire school will receive a Walk Holiday! (TBD)

More Walk Incentives  SENIORS, if you make your goal, you will get sweatshirt Mondays! (December 1 st -March 31 st )  FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, and JUNIORS, if you make your goal(s), you will receive a dress down day and baked goods!

Walk 2012 Competition  The homeroom that raises the most money will receive a catered breakfast and a dress down day.  (Entire School)  The homeroom that raises the most money in a particular year level will receive either a “donut party” or “pizza party!”  (Homeroom’s Decision)

Raider Raffle  “Red” Raffle – $ Eligible to win prizes like gift certificates, digital camera, an iPad, iPods, HDTV  “Blue” Raffle – $100 plus – Car Raffle! Eligible to win a car – for every $25 over the first $100 you will receive another ticket in the car raffle!  Note: Any student that brings in enough money to be entered into the “Blue” Raffle will also be entered into the “Red” raffle.
