 Movember is a global organization that raises funds and awareness for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer. They do this by asking men to grow mustaches for the month and asking people to sponsor them for doing so. It really is a fun idea that brings attention to a very serious issue.  Where this idea came from: Mrs. Cobb and Mrs. Fontenot recently lost family members to Prostate Cancer and Pancreatic Cancer and would like to join forces to help combat these diseases. For the two weeks leading up to Thanksgiving Break, male teacher/administrators to grow mustaches in support of this organization. We will then take pictures of the men’s mustaches throughout the next two weeks and ask students to "vote" on the best mustaches by donating money at lunches.

 The winner of the best mustache will be announced at the Pep Rally on November 16th.  We have a way for you to participate, as well. We will be selling the attached t- shirt (it will be a darker purple than that in the picture) to help raise funds and support for our cause. Shirts are $10 apiece.  We need your money before the shirt can be ordered. You can make checks payable to KHS NHS (in the memo line please write "Cancer Shirt") and send them to Mrs. Cobb or Fontenot or put them in our box in an envelope.

T-SHIRTS= $10 On sale at all lunches or at Mrs. Cobb’s/Fontenot’s rooms!
