3  Relay bucks  World Cancer Day Tabling  Fundraising  Food permits, Rodeo event, bowling tournament  Luminaria  Relay for Life website registration  Weekly challenge  Old Relay pictures or videos ** Please sign in to attendance sheet

4  $1- attending a TC meeting  $1- Wearing purple to the TC meeting- put a checkmark by name on sign in sheet if you are  $1- answering the opener question at a TC meeting  $1- following us on either Facebook or IG Verify on the signup sheet  $1- for every 5 people that signs up on your team  $5- winning the Relay game at a TC meeting  $5- per survivor that joins your team (can be a virtual one)  $5- for every 5 luminaria purchased (if in-person at tabling events; please let the committee member know that you are a TC & to write your name down)  $10- for every $100 raised by your team  Entertainment- NEW

5  Choosing of tent sites (& conclusion of Relay bucks)- February 24  February 24- When we need to know the amount of tables & chairs that your team will need  ** If you need volunteer hours, you can get that by checking in with Gramma

6  First 10 teams can choose a cancer  Prostate, colon&rectal, melanoma, thyroid, leukemia, endometrial, bladder, kidney, pancreatic, non-hodgkin lymphoma  We will provide you with the information and the handouts  You need to come up with a way to educate the people at the event about the cancer  Games  Tri-fold board presentations

8  Thursday, February 4  CC Plaza  10am-2pm  Wear your tie-dye shirt from our previous events & get $5 in Relay Bucks  Hand print pledge banner, Relay sign-ups, ACS & cancer information, decorate/purchase Luminaria bags & freebies will be given (shirts, ribbons, etc),

9  Only requires the Department of Health State food permit  State food permit fee is $50 However, teams will be waived of this fee IF: they tell Kelly & Shay what they want to sell by February 17 Food permit is good for 90 days- therefore, teams can fundraise with it before and after the Relay event ** Onsite cooking- need to let us know how/what you plan to do

10  Opportunity for $10 Relay bucks  February 13-14 from 8am-3pm  Panaewa Arena  Greeters at the gate- assist with parking/tickets and possibly stamping hands  Bring water & comfortable clothes  No minors- must be 18 years old or older **Sign up with via the Doodle link

11  Bowling tournament at KbXtreme Bowling Center in Kona- April 23 (Saturday)  Interested TCs can get registration forms from Ali- $35 entry fee per person ($15 bowling cost, $5 prize fund, $15 donation)- cash only Must include at least 1 female bowler Must have 5 people per team to play 3 games  Check in at 9:30am, bowling begins at 1030am  Forms due by April 1- open to the first 14 teams

12  Sign up to share how cancer has impacted your life during the Luminaria ceremony at the Relay for Life event  Pick up old Luminaria bags after the meeting  Buy Luminaria bags  White colored lights- $5  Colorful lights- $7 Pink, red, orange, green, blue, as well as ones that change colors

13 relayforlife.org/uhhilohi  NO $10 registration fee is needed  Click option to “pay by cash/check later” to bypass it

14  Go to the Relay website  Have a survivor join your team  Click on “Join a Team”  Register the person as a survivor **The survivor does not have to be present at the event, they can be a virtual survivor (with the virtual survivor forms)

16  Meetings for Spring 2016 at 530pm in CC 301: Keep up to date with Relay announcements and turn in any fundraising money  February 10  February 17  February 24  March 2  ** Bank Nights: March 8 and 9 at 6pm in CC 301- turn in any last minute funds and pick up Relay shirts for yourself and your team members that raised $100.
