Flag of the People’s Republic of China

Designed by Zeng Liansong, when he designed it, the big star on the flag symbolized the Communist Party Of China, & the four smaller stars symbolized the four social classes of China. It is sometimes mentioned that that five stars symbolize largest ethnic groups. But, according to the Chinese government of right now, the red symbolizes revolution, & the gold stars were used to “radiate” on the red. The five stars also represent the unity of Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
