1. The American flag has 50 stars in the left hand corner to symbolize the 50 states. The 13 stripes are for the first 13 colonies.

2. The Chinese flag is red to symbolize revolution. There are 4starts in the upper left hand corner. The biggest star stands for a communist party because China is communist. The 4 smaller stars symbolize the people of China.

3. My Chinese flag that I designed has many different symbols on it. I chose the color of grey and blue because they are very modern colors and China is a very modern country I put the symbol of technology and economy in the middle because China is growing more and more everyday. The big circle in the middle is a symbol for the country of China. The pandas in the four corners represent how kind and dedicated China is to pandas.
