Oh, yeah, project time!! Grade 8 Design a pillow using stenciling 1. Stencil…one color 2. Stencil…two color. 3. Design final stencils for pillow.

Grade 8…Pillow Step 1… One color stencil Step 2… Two color Step 3…Three color or more colors Step 4…Create a design for pillow Step 5…Stencil pillow Step 6…Sew the pillow

JOBS: Grade 8 SEAT 1 – Wash stencil brushes and replace in bin SEAT 2 – Throw out paint – Wash Table

Step 1…One color stenciling Base line Fold Draw on paper or graph paper. Use black marker to draw on clear acetate. AB NO Cut…… CUT!

Stencil your shape 50 points each for 1. Equal space in between shapes 2. Equal space under shapes

Step 2…Two color stenciling 1 2

First color in 2 color stencil Matching shape. 1 Label first acetate 1 Cut out shape # 1 only! Do not cut. 2

Second color in 2 color stencil acetate 1 and second Matching shape Do not cut!

Stencil First stencil red or #1…. then stencil green or #2 Use a different brush for each color.

Pillow Design Draw design. Break into shapes of color or values of color. Label sections 1,2,3,4,5… 1=Dark brown 2=Medium brown 3=Light brown 4=Black 5…What color value will #5 be?
