Wrenbury Tennis Club AGM 2009 Review of Activities 2008/9 Club night continues to be on Thursday Purchased removable tennis net/posts, £650, to use on the Astroturf court: Additional Court availability on Thursdays Community Grant received £500; Invested in Children’s Tennis Equipment Invested in Coaching Certification of Lynne Read Continued the Children’s Summer Coaching event Thanks to Lynne Read for her efforts Many thanks to the Dawsons who stepped in last minute to help in the coaching. Installation of a Bench and Plants in memory of Jane Windsor Wimbledon Tickets Entered a team into the Cheshire League

Wrenbury Tennis Club AGM 2009 Activities for 2009 No increase in subscription fees for 2009/10. Grant from Council has been obtained for equipment for the Wrenbury Sports and Social Club. I have requested at least £1000 for the Tennis Club Floodlight Improvements (New, Additional, Bulbs) Nets/Posts Request to enter another team in the Winter League to further promote the club and to match the numbers who want to play. Club shirts ?? Youth Summer Coaching Provided Wrenbury courts for 2 teams into PLC Tennis League on Monday nights

Wrenbury Tennis Club AGM 2009 First week: Centre Court Monday, June 22, Men’s Champion opens play : 1 £80 Tuesday, June 23, Ladies Champion opens play: 1 £80 Wednesday: June nd Rd Men’s/Ladies Singles: 1 £100 Second week: No. 1 Court Tuesday, June 30, Qtr Finals Ladies/4 th Rd Mens: 1 £124 Thursday, July 2, Ladies Singles/M&L Doubles/Mxd Doubles SF: 1 £92 Centre Court Sunday, July 5, Men’s Singles & Ladies Doubles Finals:1 £200 The tickets are NOT FREE….just the opportunity to obtain them at these prices. Deadline to get tickets is to return by 1st May Total amount to pay is £676 Top seeds will play on the show courts No1 and Centre Court Play starts at 1pm on these days apart from final day which is at 2pm
