Kentucky Work Ready Communities Recertification Certification is good for two years from date of approval by the KWIB Applications for recertification must be submitted in accordance with the application review timeline posted on on the Kentucky Work Ready Communities website KWIB will decide at the next scheduled meeting to grant or deny recertification

Kentucky Work Ready in Progress Community Updates and Extensions Certification is good for three years County may apply for work ready status at any time during the three year period At the two year point the county must submit a Recertification Update Form After three years, if the county has not met the criteria for full work ready status, they may request an extension up for one year KWIB will decide to grant the extension at the next scheduled meeting following submission of the required documentation.
