Brazil is the biggest country of South America. It occupies the central part of the continent and the Brazilian Highlands. The area of the country is 8 million 512 thousand sq km. Over 163 million people live on the territory of this beautiful country. The state language is Portuguese. The capital of it is Brasilia. Over 2 million people live here. But there are some other big and well-known cities. Rio De Janeiro, San Paolo, Porto Allegro and Porto Velho are among them.

Argentina is the second largest country of South America. It is rich in nature and has different types of climate. The area of the country is 2 million 777 thousand sq km million people live in it. The state language is Spanish. The capital of the country is Buenos Aires. Over 12.6 million people live here.

Chile lies along the coasts of the Pacific Ocean. The country has various climate and is rich in animals and vegetation. The area of the country 757 million sq km. Over 14.3 million people live in the country. The official language is Spanish. Santiago is the capital and the largest city of Chile. The population of it is over 6 million people.
