Guidance Services Cover Three Domains Personal/ Social Academic Services Career Awareness/ Discovery Personal/ Social Academic Services Career Awareness/ Discovery

These domains are covered in three ways. 1. Classroom guidance- a. Reaches the masses (tier 1) b. Can help determine who needs small group guidance 2. Small group guidance- (tier 2) a. Can include those who need the extra support as well as students who can help provide that support b. Can include targeted skills in the three domains as well as providing support for students experiencing family issues (divorce, grief, behavior, etc. ) 3. Individual guidance- (tier 3) a. Those who need individual counseling can be referred by teachers, administrators, parents, or self referral. b. I am also able to identify students in small group that need individual counseling. 1. Conference with parents or provide support to teachers and administrators during conferences. Provide training to parents and teachers on various topics ( ex. bullying, conflict resolution, suicide awareness, identifying behavior disorders, stress management).
