Looking Forward to Jesus’ Coming  Peter: II Peter 3:10-14 – “looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God” (NKJ)  “as you look forward to the day of the Lord and speed its coming” (NIV)  “looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God (ASV)  Paul: I Corinthians 16:21-24 – “O Lord, come!”  John: Revelations 22:20-21 – “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”

Looking Forward to Jesus’ Coming  We Must Be Looking Forward

So Much to Be Looking Forward To  An End to Suffering, Disappointments, & Death  Being in the Presence of God & Jesus  Living Eternally in Heaven  John 5:24-27 – “he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life”  I Corinthians 15:54-58 – “Death is swallowed up in victory”  Revelations 22:12-14 – “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life”

Conclusions  Jesus is Coming  Our Savior is coming back to reward the faithful  We must look forward to His Coming  NOW, we must make preparations & be watchful in all things  We have so much to look forward to with His coming  Romans 6:23 – “the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”
