Ordinances Ordinance (1st reading) - enacting Section 11-2 of the Code to regulate the use of bicycle storage lockers to preclude unintended and improper use of the lockers.

Bicycle Storage Regulations Recommended by Bicycle Advisory Commission Limits use to storage of bicycles, bicycle accessory equipment and bicyclists carry-on luggage Sets use period from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Authorized CPD to remove non-compliant items

Bike Locker Regulations

Ordinances Ordinance (1st reading) - to repeal and reenact certain sections of the Housing Code to address issues pertaining to state lead paint laws, rental unit inspections, landlord/tenant communication, increased fees for late rental registration, and un-mandating landlord course training.

Housing Code Revisions Reverts back to required City inspections based on change in occupancy. Adds increasing fee schedule for unpaid licenses. Except for imminent dangers, requires written notice of non-compliant conditions 10-days prior to formal complaint. Corrects typographical and grammatical errors.

Ordinances Ordinance (1st reading) - to provide for the regulation of planting and locating ornamental grasses and bamboo.

Ornamental Grasses and Bamboo Limits growth area to defined garden or landscaping areas by requiring installation of appropriate growth barriers Prohibits growth or spread onto adjoining properties Restricts such plantings from minimum setback areas as defined by the City Zoning Ordinance

Resolutions Resolution supporting the Allegany College of Maryland Foundation's application to the MD Department of Housing and Community Development for tax credits to support the provision of scholarships and tuition assistance to financially deserving students.
