Pronouns and possessive Adjectives What is a pronoun? A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. Pronouns are useful when you do not want to repeat a noun in a sentence.
1. Subject pronouns: Subject pronouns take the place of the subject in a sentence. Example: Urban Angels have many activities. They have many activities. Subject Subject pronoun

2. Object pronouns: They take the place of an object. Objects usually come after the verb. Object pronouns also come after prepositions like for, to, and from. Example: Urban Angels like to help people. Urban Angels teach them about safety. object Object pronoun

Possessive Adjectives: They are like pronouns. They show possession or ownership. They always come before a noun. Example: Urban Angels help out in their community. noun My goal is to be a fashion designer. goal is to be a fashion designer.

Style: Writing a personal Letter People write personal letters to their friends and family members. The 5 parts of a letter: Date: Write the date on the top right. Message: Write your message in paragraphs. Signature: Write your name after the closing. Greetings: Begin with “Dear” and the person’s name. Closing: End your letter with “Sincerely” “Best wishes” “Love”
